Biography:

Mark Suomala is an experienced birder and naturalist who has organized and led many nature tours throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has worked as field biologist for the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service, and has volunteered extensively as a bird-banding assistant on the Isles of Shoals. He has a graduate degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch University, and an undergraduate degree in Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

This birding magazine focuses on birding as a hobby and contains articles about identification, bird finding, books, and birding equipment. It also has fabulous photographs of birds. I assist with the editing of the English language edition.
