Biography:
Mark Suomala is an experienced birder and naturalist who has
organized and led many nature tours throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has worked as field biologist for
the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service, and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service, and has volunteered extensively as a
bird-banding assistant on the Isles of Shoals. He has a graduate degree in
Environmental Studies from Antioch University, and an undergraduate degree in
Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
